Outdoor Engagement is seeking 12 long term freelance writers to create blog articles for their websites
The company has a portfolio of websites in different niches such as freshwater fishing, saltwater fishing, boating, paddling, hunting, camping, hiking and other outdoor related activities.
You must be a native English speaker
The rate of pay is $0.045
THE ROLE
You will work with a content editor to research and write articles from 750 to 3000 words.
You will be provided with an article outline for each assignment which will include the title, keywords, subheadings and intent
You will be responsible for educating yourself on the topic. A vital skill needed is the ability to research and write clearly and concisely in a friendly and informational tone
The ideal candidate will be able to produce 6,000 to 10000 words per week(5 – 10 articles) but this is negotiable
Although it is not required to have direct experience in outdoor hobbies such as fishing,boating,hunting…it is preferred
NB: This is a ghost writing position, no author attribution
HARD SKILLS NEEDED
- Ability to work with an outline and a style guide
- Ability to write content that is easy to read on the web
- Ability to back up claims with authoritative sources
- Ability to conduct reliable and quality research
SOFT SKILLS NEEDED
- Detail oriented. Able to follow set of written processes
- Capable of meeting deadlines and staying on schedule
- Respectful,communicative and open to receiving constructive feedback.
PAYMENT STRUCTURE
The rate of pay is $0.045 per word depending on professional experience.
Payment is sent per article or batch of articles
