Proofreader / Copy Editor
Pay: $15 per proofread

We are seeking multiple proofreaders for our SEO-friendly web content. Our future proofreaders are highly organized, possess tremendous attention to detail, and will ensure specific SEO requirements are met in every piece of web content we produce.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIC FUNCTIONS
Our proofreaders are expected to perform the following tasks on every page before it is posted to a client’s website:
Proofread
Add main keyword and relevant alternative keywords to copy
Identify and create internal and external links in copy
Implement client-specific requests and feedback
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field
2+ years of editing experience
Deep familiarity with search engine optimization
Experience with web writing, marketing, advertising, or the legal industry a plus
Experience writing or reviewing web content a plus, particularly in an agency setting
Must be comfortable adhering to deadlines in Eastern Standard Time
