We are recruiting an Editorial Officer to review and revise the organization’s written content prior to publication. This can be either a part-time or full-time position (please indicate your preference, if any, and availability in your cover letter). Review and revise written material prior to publication (e.g. short briefs, infographics, in-depth reports, press releases, etc.)
Help authors articulate clear, data-driven arguments
Identify claims that require further evidentiary support or elaboration and work with authors to improve
Line edit to enhance the quality and readability of prose
Proofread to remove errors and to ensure text conforms to our style and formatting guidelines
Fact-check information from external sources as necessary
Provide in-depth writing support for authors developing new pieces as necessary
Liaise with the Communications team to prepare finalized pieces for publication
Coordinate with Communications team to expand our writing style and formatting guidelines as necessary
Perform other ad hoc support, administrative, and communications tasks as required

Fluency in English (essential); fluency in other languages – especially French, Arabic, or Spanish (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We are looking for a professional Proofreader.
We are seeking an English language professional proofreader to review and correct any spelling, grammar, punctuation, citation, and/or formatting errors in a set of organisational tools that we have developed. The tools are part of an assessment framework toolkit developed to reduce stigma in justice processes and ensure that all stages and functions of justice systems are survivor-centred and non-stigmatising.

We anticipate this consultancy to be between 3-5 days per week (totalling up to 40 hours maximum weekly). It is entirely remote.

Content Editor

We are looking for a Content Editor
As a Content Editor , you will be responsible for cultivating, growing and maintaining the articles, podcasts, videos, resources and other content on our talent management platform. You will work closely with our Product Manager to ensure that the content on the platform is, and continues to be, engaging, informative and current. You will also collaborate with the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer and CEO, as well as our marketing and sales lead, to ensure that the content aligns with our overall product marketing strategy and supports our sales efforts.

This is a freelance position. You must be able to commit to approximately 10-15 hours per week. The hourly rate for this independent contractor role is $35-50 per hour, depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing the entire content catalog for our client’s digital talent management platform, ensuring that the resources are added, removed and edited as appropriate to keep the catalog current
Editing resources to be more engaging, informative and current
Tracking submissions by colleagues and editing as appropriate to conform with platform guidelines
Supporting the Product Manager in planning and executing on the creation of resources in various formats (e.g., articles, podcasts, video, and resources)
Creating and maintaining a content calendar to ensure that relevant seasonal content is included and removed, as appropriate, throughout the year
Reviewing and editing older resources, as appropriate, to ensure they remain relevant to platform users
Monitoring external resources that may be relevant for addition to the platform
Communicating with team members to solicit submissions to continue to grow the content catalog
Ensure that all content is accurate, well-researched, and adheres to the company’s brand guidelines
Collaborate with the Product Manager, as well as the sales and marketing team to ensure that content aligns with the overall product marketing strategy and supports lead generation and sales efforts
Monitor industry trends and news to identify opportunities for content creation and thought leadership


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in content editing and/or content creation, in a professional services environment
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to ensure content is high-quality and matches brand and platform guidelines
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders
Proficiency in Office 365 and content management systems

Freelance Copywriter

As a Freelance Copywriter, you’ll have a direct hand in helping our clients get more leads from their website by producing compelling, high-quality SEO content for multiple clients.

Although the type of content you will produce may vary from month to month, it will typically include basic web pages about our clients’ services, informational blog posts, email marketing content, and social media posts. You may occasionally write copy for print pieces and other client assets (< 10%). You will work closely with content strategists on the SEO team for direction on the audience, key messaging, keyword integration, topics/subtopics, etc. for each piece of content you produce.

A Dissertation Copyeditor is responsible for copy editing student dissertations to ensure that documents adhere to the rules of standard grammar and punctuation as well as the formatting requirements.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES

Dissertation Copyediting
Accurately read student dissertations for logic and consistency in a timely manner.
Identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, syntax, format, style, and punctuation.

Provide students with feedback about APA style and the requirements of TCS.
